Organization of the European edition of Huawei Connect.
Huawei’s annual flagship event was held in Paris on November 14 and 15, 2024. This new edition enabled the Chinese group to demonstrate the strength of its ecosystem and to position its technologies as drivers of sustainable growth and digital innovation.
A new challenge was set for our teams: bringing together clients, partners, IT experts, journalists and European decision-makers around Huawei’s latest innovations at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles for two full days, turning Paris into the “capital of innovation”.
We designed and produced a large-scale immersive experience in a hybrid format, both onsite and digital, for more than 5,000 participants onsite and 4 million online viewers, all in just a few weeks.
We also created a signature scenography over 25,000 m² to host 4 plenary sessions, 21 conferences, 7 live recordings, product demonstration areas, interactive experiences and hospitality zones such as coffee breaks, catering corners and lounges.
A full end-to-end support covering concept creation, scenography, executive production and operational coordination, in close collaboration with the Huawei Europe and China teams.
The complete privatization of Hall 7.3 required a full transformation of the space into a structured immersive journey: architectural branding, plenary stages, exhibition areas, networking zones and live recording studios.
For the main keynote hall, we designed a spectacular stage built around a 27-meter panoramic LED screen complemented by mesh-technology satellite screens. Everything was operated from two control rooms, including a multi-camera video recording setup with a crane, ensuring seamless livestream broadcast.
The thematic conferences also structured the program of Huawei Connect Europe 2024, bringing together experts, partners and decision-makers around major issues in digital innovation such as artificial intelligence, sovereign cloud, green connectivity, cybersecurity and Industry 4.0.
These conferences were distributed across 12 different rooms, each designed with a customized stage setup adapted to the format and the target audience:
– immersive configurations for workshops and use cases
– lounge-style spaces for interactive sessions
– mini-plenary formats for video-recorded sessions
In addition to scenography, precise flow management between presentations, room transitions and technical operations required meticulous logistical coordination, ensuring a smooth and optimal experience for both participants and speakers.
On the first evening, the event continued with the DigitALL Night, an exclusive evening built around an inspirational conference followed by a cocktail dinner, festive activities and a dance party. More than 600 French and international students were invited to this immersive experience, designed to strengthen Huawei’s appeal as an employer and to create a privileged connection with future talent coming from technology, science and marketing programs.
In parallel, three satellite events were organized by our dedicated teams in iconic Parisian venues, each conceived as a bespoke moment for specific audiences:
A prestigious gala evening hosted by Jim LU, President of Huawei Europe, who personally welcomed the 700 strategic clients and key partners of the 2024 edition.
A confidential VIP dinner bringing together senior executives and strategic decision-makers in an exceptional setting conducive to high-level discussions.
A partner event focused on co-innovation and concrete use cases, designed to reinforce business ties with a long-standing French partner.
